Finally.  Some photos from our trip. Okay, so I’m definitely not an ichthyologist and don’t want to start guessing the names of some of these fish.  But maybe Trevor knows and can fill in the blanks.  The visibility got better as we left Panama and headed up into the Caribbean.

Vector vs. Raster Charts

Below is an illustration of the difference between Vector and Raster charts – I simply captured a screen shot using Nobeltec’s Max Pro software showing both types of charts on the same screen.  Incidentally, the little green triangle has been my home until I get Lea Scotia loaded up on the ship next weekend.
